Department Overview

Schneider Electric is seeking a motivated Proposal Analyst to support our Enterprise Pipeline Solutions sales team. The position will focus on proposals, sales & marketing and governance within the sales & account services team.

Proposals and quotes include new installations, upgrades, and maintenance packages to oil and gas clients throughout North & South America, so having experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and SCADA Applications will be an asset.

Overall responsibility for putting together a proposal.

Timely proposal preparation and presentation

Interface with all departments (Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Purchasing), coordinate meetings and ensure all deadlines for a proposal are met.

Administrative tasks related to proposal preparation

Intermediate Financial Analysis (CF) and Risk Analysis of the proposal with the support of the different departments in the company.

Accurate and comprehensive proposal budgeting – (sales cost & sales effort to win proposal)

Supplier and contractor interface

Ensure that proposals are received by the customer on time

Provide ongoing customer support/liaison – follow up on proposal, clarification, revision requests

Present high level proposal to the customer (cost, engineering solution)

Prepared required information packages to present to customers

Follow internal processes related to offer generation

Develop technical knowledge of company solutions

Accurate and comprehensive project handover to Engineering Department

1-3 years related experience in a client service orientated environment

Strong writing skills is a requirement

Fluency in English is a requirement. Fluency in Spanish is an asset.

Highly proficient in MS Office, MS Excel and MS Power Point an asset

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Engineering or a related field, or;

A Technical Diploma in Business, Communications, Computer Science or a related field.

Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, SCADA or SCADA Applications will be an asset.
