Schneider Electric is looking for an Offer Marketing Specialist to support our Energy Business.

General Scope, Accountabilities, & Objectives

Working within Schneider Electric’s quality management systems, rules of engagement, policies, and work procedures to achieve and support business unit, country, and global objectives.

Manages the offer to enable growth of market share and compatibility with needs. Provides the elements required to support the offer and builds the relevant action plans. Guarantees profitability of the offer though leveraging price and mix.

Accountable for managing offer launches and evolutions using the Country Offer Introduction (COIN) process, and developing an Offer Technology Roadmap. This role serves as the key intermediary between Product Management and the Front Office, interpreting feedback to continually improve the offer with respect to price, competitive features, and promotion.

Meet or exceed Product Sales targets and associated financial key performance indicators for the Energy Business Unit Offer Perimeter.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables

Offer Knowledge and Management


Manage the execution of the product offer portfolio via Country Offer Introduction (COIN) and Country Launch (COLA). This includes

Working with product teams to provide quotation tools

Developing supply chain – how to order product, and shipping location

Developing and maintaining product profiles in Q2C


Accountable for implementing the actions around life cycle management, including Country Offer Introduction (COIN).


Manage lead team in partnership with Global Supply Chain (GSC) to meet the needs of a changing and dynamic marketplace


Maintain product profiles within Quote to Cash (Q2C)


Respond to Non-System Recognized (NSR) product requests and support resolution of NSR products within Quote to Cash (Q2C) per service level agreements.

Market Segmentation & Customer Targeting


Authors and implements a marketing communications calendar of events to spur demand


Analyzes detailed information to recommend product roadmap changes to Product Management.

Market Research and Data Management


Collects insight regarding product, service and solution gaps from Segment Marketing for targeted segments, and from Sales and the marketplace itself for non-targeted segments.


Provides the direction to the business e.g. Logistics, for Customer Experience requirements (availability, stock levels).


Maintains detailed competitive analysis of competitors’ product or solution offer positioning at the country level, provides this to other parts of the organization, e.g. Product Management, Sales, Segment Marketing. Receives competitive information from other parts of the organization, such as Segment and Channel Marketing.

Campaign Development


Defines or proposes all necessary action plans targeted at boosting the product offer. This ensures that all relevant stakeholders are properly trained and aligned, that Sales and Channel are provided sufficient support, training and sales collateral to effectively promote the Energy BU offer to End Users, Consultants and Panel-Builders.. This is done in collaboration with:

Product Management, Segment Marketing, Pricing, Channel, Sales, MarCom, Technical Publications, Competency Centers, Power Application Engineering, Customer Care, etc.


Generate demand through the successful execution of the MarCom plan.

Value Proposition Development


Acts as the liaison between Product Management and Front Office, including; Segment Marketing, Sales & Customer Operations, Marketplace, Marketing Communications, Channel, Pricing.


Product specifications for Consultants.


Sales and Market Share Growth of the product offer.

Codes & Standards


Develop offer technology roadmaps for the respective Energy Business Unit products.


Proposes the adaptation needed to comply with local codes, standards and norms.


Identifies product offer gaps and suggests product offer evolution.

Price Management


Develop pricing guidelines


Sets published price and direction for execution, monitors its implementation.


Profitability of the product offer, price realization and mix management.

Analyze Issues


Follows up on quality indicators, including: Quality Notifications, Product Safety Alerts (PSAs), Supplier Quality, Field Failure Rate (FFR), Parts per Million (PPM). Follow up is with customers and/or channels to address customer satisfaction, not to fix design or operational issues.


Identifies product offer gaps and suggests product offer evolution recommendations.


Improve marketing effectiveness by focusing on process continuous improvement


Provides general direction to prioritize supply to markets and customers in the event of a product shortage.

Focus on Customer


Review, understand, and respond to Customer Satisfaction survey feedback to drive improvement in Net Promoter Score (NPS).


Develop and Maintain relationships with Customers within targeted segments.

Sales and Profitability: orders, growth of activities, new businesses, geographical area, growth of market share

Managerial Gross Margin (MGM)

Customer satisfaction improvement

Relationship management measurement (knowledge of customer and network built inside customer organization)

Price Plan Attainment


Education and experience:
Engineering and/or Business degree at minimum, MBA Preferred, with 5 years of experience


Solid understanding of electrical distribution equipment and solutions, including Protection and Control MV Switchgear, Outdoor station breakers, OEM Components;

Strong working knowledge of marketing and analysis fundamentals, including: value proposition, competitive benchmarking, price management, product positioning, promotion and market segmentation;

Good understanding of Solutions Value Propositions;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as negotiation and influencing skills;

Capacity to listen to carry out needs and requirement analyses;

Computer Skills: MS Office, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, data analysis platforms;

Collaborates broadly within the both internally across the Schneider Electric organization and outside the organization;

Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
