Global Supply
Chain is a pivotal part of the Schneider Electric organization. This

facility, Schneider Electric is expanding its activities with new product lines
and integrating activities of steel and copper parts fabrication including the
ramp up of new high-tech punching and bending equipment.

Summary of the role:
The NC Programmer will
plan, organize and formulate efficient operational programs for numerical
machines through the application of established or pre-determined manufacturing
engineering methods to provide optimum utilization of machine capabilities and
tooling arrangements.


Be a proactive actor for Health & Safety
in the department


Design, develop, and modify CNC computer
programs to achieve maximum cost and manufacturing efficiency.


Maintain performance KPI updated to improve
quality and effectiveness of CNC programs: Analyze defects, frequency, main
reasons (Pareto) and implement corrective and preventive actions


Determine methods, tooling, feeds, speeds and
all other necessary requirements necessary for efficient manufacturing of


Contribute to the cost reduction program by
actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs.


Identify and resolve any logical program


Complete and maintain program documentation
and file system


Be responsive to the short term needs of the
shop to keep CNC machines running at full capacity / efficiency.


Act as a liaison between fabrication and
design engineering


Be the point of contact for the other North
American fabrication sites

Pe Perform other work related task as required as




Technical degree or NC programming certificate
and equivalent knowledge


3 to 5 years’ experience in fabrication
programming (sheet metal punching and forming process), experience on Trumpf
and Erht equipment would be an asset


Understand the Build and Design principles for
Schneider Electric


Inventor/Pro-E or other CAD knowledge to
manipulate flat patterns for programming


Be able to load Bills Of Material and Routings
in an ERP


Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word,
Excel) is a requirement. Interpret and manipulate spread sheets


Advanced written and verbal skills in both
English and French (essential)
