The successful candidate will deliver safety related programs for the Saskatchewan Safety Council throughout the province. Courses may include but not be limited to Work Zone Traffic Accommodation, Flag Person Training and various types of Powered Mobile Equipment including Forklift, Aerial Work Platforms, and Skid Steer Loaders.
Previous experience or training with Powered Mobile Equipment and roadway Work Zones would be an asset. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Effective public speaking, communication, and computer skills are essential to the position. The candidate must enjoy travelling throughout the province, be willing to commit to frequent travel and flexible hours. Extensive travel throughout the province is required so a valid Saskatchewan drivers license, a good driving record and a reliable vehicle are necessary. Successful candidate will be required to provide a drivers abstract and criminal record check.
The Safety Instructor position is a full time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits. While we thank all interested applicants please be aware that we are searching for a specific mix of experience, education and attitude.
