Job Duties

Job Duties
This individual is required to develop curriculum and evaluation and training materials to be delivered as part of a new Innovative Manufacturing diploma program. The individual must have an extensive background in manufacturing including experience in biomass and bioplastics.
Under the guidance of a Program Development Consultant:
1. Develops learning outcomes
2. Evaluates existing training curricula and related materials
3. Develops and writes course manuals
4. Develops and produces training presentations
5. Develops and writes exams and other assessment tools
6. Follow any academic regulations and/or policies adopted by SaskPolytech.
7. Maintains a supportive attitude toward work, instructors, and colleagues
8. Practice good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Specific Accountabilities

Duties

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
2. Member of/or eligible for certification with APEGS as a P.Eng or with SASTT as an A.Sc.T.
3. Recent/relevant experience in manufacturing (at least two years in the last five)
4. Extensive background in manufacturing including experience in biomass and bioplastics.
5. Good communication skills (written and oral).
6. Good interpersonal skills.
7. Good instructional skills.
8. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
