SIIT is seeking a qualified Program Coordinator who will provide educational leadership and will be expected to have a good working knowledge of Saskatchewan Education (K-12;ABE). The position is based out of Saskatoon.

Duties:

*Plan and coordinate the delivery of ABE programs within the province.

*Assist with the management of ABE program delivery plans, budgets, training contracts and monthly reports.

*Collaborate with Bands, Tribal Councils and other agencies to identify appropriate ABE programming and delivery.

*Travel to assigned communities and plan impromptu site visits to evaluate instructional staff and student participation.

*Provide leadership and technical support to ABE programs, instructional staff and students.

*Evaluate and monitor student attendance and progress reports submitted by instructional staff in your assigned communities and create action and support plans as necessary.

*Data entry and maintenance of Ministry of Learning Student Data System (SDS).

*Assist with instructor and learner recruitment and selection.

*Assist with student management, including registration and academic progress.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in program administration and coordination is preferred, with the ability to develop, establish and maintain good working relationships within First Nations communities. Knowledge of First Nations culture and organizations is an asset. A reliable vehicle and valid drivers license is required.
