Safety-Kleen Canada is seeking a Processing Operator . This position is responsible for tank farm, and completing associated paperwork. The candidate works as part of a team to operate the re-refining process.


• Collects process samples for laboratory analysis;
• Transfers all production material;
• Maintains and updates transfers in reading sheet;
• Maintains and updates process-reading sheets as required.
• Notifies First Operator of any variances from expected targets;
• Records any process adjustments in process log book;
• Writes work request for repair of process equipment;
• Other work assigned by First Operator/Department Supervisor.


• High School diploma or equivalent required;
• Previous environmental experience dealing with hazardous waste;
• Basic aptitude for and experience with computer applications;
• Ability to maneuver shunt trucks and forklifts;
• Ability to multi-task and strength in attention to detail;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Ability to work flexible rotation (evening shift).

Physical Demands

Typical 9-10 hour shift to include sitting, walking and standing, with occasional computer usage. May also climb, bend, kneel, reach, squat, stoop and twist. Must be able to carry, lift, pull, and push from between 10-100 lbs., with occasional carrying, lifting, pulling and pushing of over 100 lbs., with repetitive movement of both hands. May be required to wear a respirator.
