MAIN REQUIRMENT

Have the skill and experience to build 5 to 6 high end custom homes from start to occupancy without supervision at one time.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS – MUST HAVE

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in residential high end custom homes site supervision
• Read and interpret architectural/structural/HVAC/Shop drawings/finishing layouts
• Read surveyors drawings, such as topographical and site plans and a full understanding of grading plans.
• Read and understand all trade scopes of work
• Ability to organize and supervise trades
• Ability to manage multiple construction sites and solve on site problems
• Working knowledge of Part 9 and Part 10 of the OBC
• Conduct Pre-delivery inspections
• Conduct city and building inspections as needed

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical…etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Acrobat)
• Punctuality and ability to ensure projects are being completed as directed and in high quality
• Fine attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Self-managed with problem solving abilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

Site Work

• Problem solving site issues and minimizing associated construction delays
• Maintain site with a “zero” tolerance attitude to ensure safety and productivity
• Perform physical work where required, including general carpenting and cleaning…etc. work

Sub Contractors (Trades)

• Ensure preparation of job site for trades
• Provide site orientation to all trades
• Read and understand all trade scopes of work
• Control all work on site, ensure trades are completing their scope of work on time and meet highest possible quality standards
• Quality control – manage deficiencies with contractors during and after each job completion
• Work closely with architect, structural engineer and owner

Records and Conduct

• Maintain a daily site log
• Report on a daily/weekly/monthly progress
• Must have a smart phone and access to the internet
• There shall be no alcohol or drug used before or during work hours
• Work attire will consist of hard hat, steel toe 8” high boots and full length pants
