The Opportunity:

In this role you’ll:

  • Work collaboratively with copywriters and other team members to produce effective concepts in support of creative briefs and marketing strategy.
  • Collaborates with other production artists to design templates and guidelines for effective and expeditious ongoing repeat collateral production.
  • Manage design projects from start to finish, and ensure that concepts are applied effectively and consistently across all materials.
  • Participate in creative review sessions with team members, internal clients and other stakeholders.
  • Stays current with trends and new developments related to graphic design and the supporting techniques and technology.
  • Participates in presentation of design materials for approvals by the clients.
  • Give and receive constructive feedback to colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as required from time to time.
Here’s what you bring:
  • 3+ years of graphic design experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communication, degree preferred.
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator).
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
  • Ability to handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day.
  • Detail oriented and deadline driven.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Excellent team player.

This job will require you to:

  • Work independently, learn quickly, and prioritize competing projects with tight deadlines.
  • Undertake both routine and new, challenging projects.
  • Work well in an open, collaborative team environment.
  • Be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines, as required.
  • Be willing to travel within Canada and the USA, as required.
