Responsibilities:

• Educates the public on environmental issues and sustainable housing practices.
• Works with clients and families to determine the need for and encourage participation in subsidized programs.
• Identifies eligible participants for the program, interprets the standards and guidelines to potential clients, answers questions, obtains consent for services, and makes referrals based upon program requirements.
• Provides solutions for clients who have been identified as having flood risk; refers and follows up on the receipt of services; coordinates, consults, and collaborates with service providers
• Travels as required throughout Toronto for home visits and other community activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong ability to work independently on and off-site with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills in both written and oral areas.
• Attention to detail.
• Accuracy in recording numerical data.
• Ability to utilize sound judgement practices when dealing with confidential information.

Qualifications:

• University/College degree in a business or marketing related field preferred.
• Outreach and Enrollment experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable about climate change.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual fluency (English/French) is an asset.
