Term: Part time 5-month contract with possibility of renewal depending on funding: 10 hours per week, to March 31, 2017

Salary: $16 per hour

Vacation: 4% paid vacation pay


REEP Green Solutions is an environmental charity that helps people in Waterloo Region live sustainably. Our current focus is on addressing climate change through residential energy efficiency and storm water management. Many of our programs and services are delivered using a social enterprise model.

Position Summary

The Customer Engagement Coordinator works directly on fulfilling REEP’s strategic goals of SHOW, DO, CONNECT by overseeing the customer engagement aspect of REEP’s services – EnerGuide Evaluations, Home Energy Coach, HAP, WET Audits, RAIN Visits, and Rain Barrel Installations. This will involve keeping track of the progress of each EnerGuide customer (60, 90 and 120 day check-ins) and processing related paperwork. The Coordinator will also aid in analyzing customer satisfaction through regular surveys and customer follow-up. This position reports to the Energy Programs and Customer Service Coordinator.


Energy Program Coordination

# Track and process the energy advisors’ file submissions: Includes performing a clerical quality assurance on each file to ensure completeness and correctness, and following up on any problems with the advisor;

# Ensure that customer reports and labels are sent out in a timely manner, and all other related paper work

# Participate in the marketing of Energy Programs

# Provide bi-weekly updates to partners and leadership about uptake and bookings

# Coordinate with EnerGuide customers and volunteer photographer to capture images of the home energy evaluation process, and any ongoing renovation work completed by the homeowner

# Contribute to the creation of homeowner stories about their renovation work, and energy-saving achievements

All other Services – Home Energy Coach (HEC), Home Assistance Program (HAP), Water Conservation Audits, and RAIN (stormwater) programs

# Track customer satisfaction and quality of service through regular surveys and provide updates about potential program improvement

# Ensure any enquiries/issues/feedback regarding each program are communicated to the appropriate resource

Office Administration and General tasks

# Coordinate arrangements for meetings and other events

# Perform various administrative tasks as required


# Excellent customer service is fundamental, via telephone, email and in person

# Strong communications skills, both verbal and written

# Highly computer literate in various software applications, especially Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Access

# Self motivated, proactive, and have demonstrated experience in organizing and prioritizing workflow

# A high level of attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills

# Ability to work cheerfully with a wide variety of people and housing situations

# G class Ontario driver’s license an asset

# Access to a vehicle occasionally for daytime and evenings an asset

# Experience working in a not for profit or charitable organization environment an asset
