Position Summary : The Marketing Coordinator contributes to the execution and analysis of account marketing plans based on brand and sales objectives..

This candidate should a proactive, resourceful, self-motivated and detail-oriented person with strong project management and communication skills.

Essential functions: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and implement marketing projects with responsibilities that focus’ on supporting our brand
  • Advertising initiatives
  • Communicate needs and track projects across an array of wholesale accounts, internal teams and agency partners.
  • Draft, edit and facilitate the distribution of Press Releases, information bulletins, and letters to media outlets and key customers on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that in-store and online brand assets are updated regularly and represent current brand marketing initiatives.
  • Manage long-term and short range projects including meetings and events.
  • Lead quarterly competitive research and brand activation recaps.

Specific Skills

  • Answer written and oral inquiries,
  • Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs,
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media,
  • Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes,
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material,
  • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions,
  • Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies,
  • Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions,
  • Gather, research and prepare communications material.
