Accounts Payable Temporary

This temporary position will appeal to a seasoned accounting professional with the ability to build a role in a professional environment.

My client is a leading provider of products and services within the Oil & Gas industry, with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethics; they attract a talented team of employees.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Accounts Payable (match, batch, coding);
• Complete cheque runs and conduct vendor follow-up;
• Verify and post account transactions;
• Bank and GL reconciliations;
• Manage the disbursement process and tracking of invoices;
• Month end Processes.
• General Ad Hoc duties as required

Your strengths include:

• An accounting diploma or degree is preferred
• Experience in the construction industry would be an asset
• 3+ years of related experience with high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and oral;
• Strong time management skills with a high attention to accuracy;
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office and/or other software;
• Previous experience in SAP would be considered an asset
• Ability to multitask and consistently prioritize workload.
