What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities located in Downtown Vancouver is looking to hire a Branch Administrator to assist the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in administering all aspects of the branch day to day operations. The successful candidate should be fully licensed and have leadership experience in the financial industry.
What will you do?
- As Branch Administrator, you will be dealing with support staff on a daily basis
- While directly and indirectly supervising, you will also provide leadership and coaching
- You will be involved in hiring, termination and performance reviews of all direct reports
- You will conduct supervision of Branch Cage Operations, including signing authority for outgoing cheques and approval of daily transactions. With your Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the daily review and approval of all branch transactions in strict compliance with internal policies and procedures
- You will review branch expenses and operational efficiency along with the implementation of various firm wide initiatives Responsible for branch technology initiatives, coordination of new IT orders and access requests and in-branch contact for technology issues through coordination with various head office groups
- You will be a primary point of contact for various internal and external meetings and dialogue with branch partners

Must-have
Industry experience
Professionalism and ability to manage highly confidential information
Completion of CSC and CPH
Exceptional attention to detail and mature/positive attitude
Excellent people and communication skills, ability to manage different personalities and leadership experience
Excellent organization and task management (multi-tasking) skills
Strong knowledge of IT
Must-have
Dominion Securities experience
Post-secondary education
