What is the opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities Place Ville Marie Branch is looking for an Associate Advisor to join a well-established team. The successful candidate will assist the Investment Advisor in maintaining, developing and growing the business by providing clients with exceptional service in a punctual and professional manner. You will also actively participate in the execution of wealth management activities within the team (Financial Planning services, Estate planning, etc.).

What will you do?
Prepare financial projections and analyze clients’ wealth situation using the myGPS tool (gather the necessary information from the clients and enter it into the system)
Coordinate and follow-up on financial plans and insurance plans
Follow the financial markets closely, provide summaries of research reports and keep files up to date
Keep product knowledge up to date (TFSA, RRIF, Locked-in accounts, etc.)
Respond to clients’ questions regarding products, markets, estate settlement, etc.
Assist in the development of strategies for managed products (A+, mutual funds)
Assist the Investment Advisor in implementing strategies in the discretionary managed accounts as well as developing the assets under management by being on the lookout for opportunities
Monitor the cash flows in the clients’ accounts (conversions, sale of securities, etc.)

What do you need to succeed?
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
Licensed under IIROC as a Registered Representative
3 years of experience in the securities industry
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
University degree in a related field
Meticulous attention to detail and superior client relationship management skills

Financial Planner diploma granted by the IQPF
Candidate in the CFA Program (Level II or III)
