What is the opportunity?
The 1000 De La Gauchetière RBC Dominion Securities Branch in downtown Montreal is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a well-established team. By joining the team, you will participate in growing the business by providing exceptional and efficient service and by taking care of administrative tasks related to client accounts and by responding to client inquiries.

What will you do?
Perform daily administrative functions in a punctual, professional manner while providing the highest quality service
Investigate and resolve inquiries related to accounts and refer to the Investment Advisor where appropriate
Follow-up on client trades to ensure settlement and delivery
Ensure clients’ accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation
Assist in preparing mailings such as newsletters and information packages
Assist the Investment Advisor in preparing for client meetings and client appreciation events

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Demonstrated skills in providing world class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written
Passion for investments
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course and be licensed with IIROC as an Investment Representative, or willing to complete it all within one year
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time-management skills

Nice-to-have
Secretarial or accounting training / background
Two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Associate in the investment industry
