September 16, 2015 Raymond James is seeking a Commercial Loan Administrator to work in our Toronto office within our Raymond James Financial division. Raymond James is one of Canada’s leading independent investment dealers and commercial lenders offering high quality investment products and corporate banking services to Canadians. Under limited supervision, the Loan Administrator will use specialized knowledge and skills to process commercial loans and prepare closing documents. The Loan Administrator will resolve and/or recommends solutions to complex problems. Additionally, there will be extensive contact with internal and external customers in order to obtain, clarify or provide facts and information and to identify, research, and resolve problems. In addition to loan-related duties, the role will involve administrative duties and roles related to the management of the office and supporting the lending team. Specifically you will:

 Obtain required documentation and process complex loan applications;  Order credit verifications and third party services;  Track receipt of and reviews post-closing legal documents;  Follow up on missing documentation;  Verify loan applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness;  Prepare and compile documents for loan closing and submits for review;  Prepare or reviews for accuracy, Good Faith Estimates of Closing Costs, Regulation Z

disclosures, and other disclosures required by consumer regulation;  Perform initial credit analysis submission via automated underwriting, as requested;  Schedule, coordinate loan closings, and clear for disbursement loan proceeds’;  Prepare compliance and accounting records and reports, as required by management and

regulatory agencies;  Perform advanced loan calculations;  Assist customers with complex inquires or problems;  Perform pre-closing, post-closing, or whole loan due diligence review of legal agreements

and other closing documents to terms of loan commitment;  Maintain currency in loan processing policies and procedures;  Read, interpret, analyze and apply information from loan application documents;  Prepare and process expense reports, coordinates payables and cheque requisitions;  Process vendor invoices through Finance ensuring the proper accounts are charged;

 Make reservations and book flights and hotels for client events;  Maintain departmental records and supplies;  Finalize letters and memoranda from draft copies or verbal direction and circulate them to

predetermined individuals;  Completion of ad-hoc searches and reports as required;  Interpret and apply policies;  May lead the work of others and provide training in loan policies and procedures;  May coach and mentor others;  Other duties as assigned.

To qualify for this opportunity you possess:

 Minimum of 3 years of industry experience an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training;

 Knowledge of principles of banking and finance;

 Excellent proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook;

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

 Ability to organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment;

 Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively and professionally;

 Exceptional client service skills;

 Establish and maintain effective working relationships;

 Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment;

 Lead others in handling stressful situations and providing a high level of customer service in a calm manner;

 A predisposition to pay attention to detail;
