Job Summary

As a member of the Quality and Regulatory Team, the Quality Assurance Coordinator will manage the quality system daily operations, mainly training and document control management. This position will report to Director, Quality and Regulatory.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing the document control system.
  • Managing the training program.
  • Establishing and implementing quality procedures.
  • Performing QA review of records to support the release of incoming and in-process materials.
  • Performing material status labelling for incoming and in-process materials.
  • Initiating and processing Nonconformity Reports (NCRs).
  • Assisting with root cause investigation of quality problems.
  • Performing any other QA tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent, preferably in medical technology, microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry, biology or related science.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Medical Device or Biotech industry.
  • Knowledge of and direct experience with ISO 13485, GLP and GMP.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Strong organization and execution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and written communication skills.
