Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Working along a conveyor belt with about 10 other people
  • Organizing and sorting fish
  • Lining up fish in slots on the conveyor belt
  • Cleaning and gutting fish
  • Various other production duties as required (i.e.: packaging)

This is a Monday to Friday position, approximately 25-40 hours a week.
Morning shift is from 7:00am to 3:30pm, sometimes 8:00am to 4:30pm, and pays $11/hr.

Job Requirements:

  • No experience required
  • But experience working in a processing plant and/or physical demanding role (i.e. general labour, in a warehouse, in logistics) would be considered an asset
  • Employees must be willing to work in a seafood environment (cold, loud, strong smell of fish, and fast-paced)
  • Must have steel toe boots (can be provided for $30)
  • Willingness to adapt to workplace safety requirements and procedures
