This is an accelerated one-year leadership program which will give you the opportunity to gain exposure, in-depth experience, and a comprehensive perspective of various areas of the Supply Chain function through rotations. After you grow your knowledge of AEO through this program, you’ll have a skillset that can transfer into various opportunities across functions and locations.

This position will be located in Mississauga, Ontario for the first year of the leadership program. Following the successful-completion of the one-year program, you will be placed in a permanent role within the AEO Supply Chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP:
•Distribution Center: Take an active role in the Distribution Center environment, understanding various departments and key processes, while owning and implementing strategic, value-adding innovations
•IT and Systems: Gain an understanding of the overarching responsibilities of the local DC System/IT team by learning both the short-term requirements of the function, as well as long-term strategic initiatives
•Transportation: Gain an understanding of the product life cycle, from creation at vendors to the final destination, consumers and how Transportation affects this process.
•Inventory: Take an active role in the overall responsibilities the Inventory team has to the DC, Finance and Internal Audit functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Individual should be willing to work in a fun, fast paced environment, and have a good sense of humor. The individual should also be strategic, innovative, logical, objective, a people developer, a relationship builder, and a team player.
•Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics or equivalent
•High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
•Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
•Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
•Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
•Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
