The successful candidate will have a key role in all aspects of the following:

Rabaska Ventures - Venture Capital

  • Screen and analyze investment opportunities;
  • Prepare industry and sector reports;
  • Prepare financial models and financial analyses of potential private equity investments;
  • Perform due diligence on opportunities including past and projected financial performance, quality of management teams, investment merits and risks, expected returns, regulatory environment, industry dynamics and other relevant factors;
  • Help prepare investment recommendations for approval;
  • Investment operations monitoring and administration.

Rabaska Partners - Advisory

  • Research company and industry dynamics;
  • Perform financial analysis and value analysis;
  • Perform detailed modeling;
  • Develop and execute transactions;
  • Prepare offering documents and marketing transactions;
  • Organize presentation materials;
  • Prepare term sheets for various capital market instruments.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong financial technical and analytical abilities
  • Exceptional academic track record
  • Experience in M&A advisory and in conducting due diligence is considered an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Competency with MS Office (strong proficiency in Excel is required)
  • Passion for business, finance and economics
  • Strong dedication to the team and excellent work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business relationship skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Flexibility, adaptability and initiative
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Team player who enjoys a high-performance culture
  • CFA and CSC are considered an asset
