Main Responsibilities – Work with the product owners, the engineers and the development teams to insure testability and complete the specifications by providing the developers with clear acceptance criteria; – Make sure issues are documented and tracked in the issue tracking system (Jira); – Create and maintain test cases in order to detect anomalies and regressions; – Through our efforts of continuous improvement, you’ll propose and help implement solutions to help us grow and get better at what we do; – Perform load tests and stress tests to ensure that the products will meet the production requirements; – Automate tests that are manually performed and for which automation would be beneficiary; and – Ensure that team members are using the current best practices of the industries in term of software quality assurance by coaching or planning training. Employment Requirements – Collegial diploma in computer science or in software testing or equivalent experience; – Minimum 2-3 years doing software quality assurance with systems with both backend (db, application server, etc.) and frontend (web UI) components; – Experience doing Black Box and White Box testing for the backend components and the user interfaces; – Experience with both formal scripted test and exploratory test technics; – Experience using scripting languages (i.e. bash) and using a Unix shell; – Experience with RDBMS such as mySql, Oracle and SQL Server to validate their content; – Experience with test automation tools (i.e.

: SilkTest, Selenium, Rational Functional Tester, QuickTest Pro, etc.) for both backend and front-end (GUI) components; – Good overall technical knowledge (our development environment is complex and multiple languages such as Java, C++, C# and ASP.NET are used); – Methodical, thorough, attention to details; – Bilingual (French and English); – Self-learner, autonomous, rigorous and team worker; – Experience as QA for Agile SCRUM team; – Functional analysis experience is a plus.
