The Company:
Our client, a massive global oil and gas producer, is looking to add to their team!

This position would be based in St. John’s, NL, and is only open to those already residing in Newfoundland.

**There is NO rotation or relocation offered for this role**

The Role:
– Responsible for the successful development and execution of the certification program for subsea oil and gas development projects for offshore eastern Canada that confirms that facilities and associated documentation comply with Newfoundland and Labrador Certificate of Fitness and other applicable Canadian regulations, and confirm that the installation can be operated safely and without environmental pollution
– Develop and execute quality audit program for major oil and gas development project
– Provide certification input to Project Team’s contracting activities
– Oversee certification elements of contractor planning and implementation activities
– Develop and maintain quality audit procedures and project quality audit schedule
– Manage the regulator query process with support from Regulatory & Certification
– Adapt standard quality audit procedure for project-specific use

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
– 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar certification/coordination type role on a Canadian East Coast offshore project or operating asset
– Strong knowledge of C-NLOPB Regulations including the C-NLOPB Regulator Query Process
– Extensive experience with leading audits of quality management systems
– Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other technical field REQUIRED
– MUST be proficient in common PC software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
