We are currently seeking Dishwashers to join our team at our locations within Toronto. The Dishwasher plays an integral part to the fast paced operations in our kitchen as we continue to deliver the highest quality to our customers. Someone in this role will be responsible for maintaining all equipment and tools, assisting with preparation of food and ingredients, and maintaining the gold standard of cleanliness and sanitization of our facility.

Description:

• Oversees the cleaning duties of all equipment, utensils and refrigeration within the kitchen department according to Company polices and the quality assurance department.
• Reports any equipment/ utensil malfunctions to Sous Chef for safety concerns.
• Helps to see that food products are put away and rotated.
• Will assist with moving food products and supplies between various areas of the kitchen and store when necessary.
• Sweep, mop and wash down all kitchen fridges including walls or as needed.
• Disposes of oil and garbage in the appropriate areas.
• Informs Chef or Sous Chef when additional detergent and sanitizer supplies are needed.
• Follows and enforces the hygiene and safety standard set by the quality assurance department of the company.
• Will accommodate all other duties not specified when required by management.

Qualifications:

• Food Handlers Certificate desirable but not required.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in the customer service and/or culinary industry
• Demonstrated organization skills to manage multiple tasks
• Effective written and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work outside regular business hours if needed
• Open availability – be able to work any day of the week as determined by business needs
