Quickthree Solutions Inc. (www.quickthree.ca) is seeking to hire a Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing Team.

Responsibilities:
Work cooperatively to plan and procure materials and services
Research and evaluate suppliers
Support existing supplier/vendor relationships including strategic development and tactical execution
Regular reporting to Production Management personnel in terms of planning material demands and scheduling of delivery to meet production requirements
Update internal costing model and prepare quotations for Management
Issue, track and maintain Purchase Order documentation and database
Monitor shipments and supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and supply of materials

Skills and Competencies:
Graduation from a purchasing/procurement and/or supply chain management program
Experience working in a Purchasing/Procurement related role
Proven ability to establish strategic sourcing and supplier relationships
Outstanding multi-tasking and time management skills
Proficiency using purchasing inventory systems
Excellent inter-personal skills including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment to highest standards of personal and corporate practice and ethics
Demonstrated ability to problem solve
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English
Previous experience in supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment would be an asset
Strong computer skills with competency in MS Windows, MS Office, ERP system
