Offshore Scaffolder

LOCATION: Offshore Newfoundland
ROTATION: Temporary
POSITION: Temp / Fill in as required

JOB SUMMARY: Design Scaffolds as per requirements of client.

PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 year experience with Scaffolding
• Valid Journeyman Scaffolding Certificate
• Offshore Certificates: Basic Survival Training, WHMIS, First Aid, CAPP Medical, H2S Alive, Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry.
• Previous experience offshore, similar industry required
• Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of offshore scaffolding practices
• Ensure all tools and equipment are stowed appropriately at the end of each shift to avoid safety hazards for other operations
• Perform regular cleaning and painting to maintain the unit
• Actively participate in the Safety Management Systems
• Other duties as assigned
