Primary responsibilities include the administration and scoring of standardized neuropsychological tests to adults with suspected Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, as well as the administration and scoring of self-report questionnaires, and writing comprehensive behavioural observations based on the assessment.
Primary role in the Adult FASD Assessment Clinic program includes administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests, recording and summarizing behavioral observations of clients, monitoring and ordering test forms, booking testing rooms, transposing test data to data summary sheets, and particular work on specific aspects of the research projects (may include phone contacts, organizing data, inputting information, etc.). The Psychometrist is part of an Interdisciplinary team, under the supervision of a Psychologist.
– A Bachelor degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) from a recognized University training program is required.
– Demonstrated strong skills and a minimum of one year recent experience in a variety of current assessment measures (primary cognitive and neuropsychological) is essential.
– Experience in assessment in both pediatric and adult populations is preferred.
