Provincial Airlines is currently seeking a Treasury Specialist to join our team in St. John’s, NL .

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Daily reconciliation of multiple bank accounts;
• Updating daily banking transactions in cash flow files;
• Process general ledger transactions to record pre authorized transactions deducted from bank;
• General ledger account reconciliations;
• Weekly update of exchange rates;
• Set up wire transfers in online banking system as needed;
• Coordinate with AR and AP to ensure all cash transactions are processed in their respective systems;
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• College certificate or University Degree in Accounting
• 1 – 2 years of experience in an accounting environment
• Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and meet time sensitive deadlines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• An ability to work both independently and in a team environment is a must
• Ability to obtain a clear record of conduct
