We are currently seeking an individual in the role of: Project Planning SpecialistSparwood, British Columbia23 Month Term ContractReporting to the Program Manager and under the guidance and supervision of the Principal, Planning and Scheduling Specialist, the Project Planning Specialist will implement project planning and scheduling methods, procedures, and systems on the Southeast Coal Permitting Program. Project Planning includes: schedule planning and development, reviews, resource allocation, progress and performance measurement, schedule analysis, forecasting and status reporting. Responsibilities: •Lead the integration of scheduling and planning activities with regulatory bodies, external consultants and Teck internal groups. •Develop and maintain a program master schedule.

• Develop and maintain a Teck schedule of work for each project and other required approvals in the program. •Perform quality reviews on third party schedules. Recommend corrective actions and supervise their implementation. •Provide guidance and training on project planning and scheduling methods, procedures and systems as required.
• Assist the Principal, Planning and Scheduling Specialist in transferring program lessons learned and gathering historical data.•Consistently demonstrate Teck†s commitment to safety and environmental protection as a core value.•Perform administrative duties as required.
