Our client, a corporate and professional organization within the financial services industry is currently looking for an Intermediate Project Manager to join their team on a 6 month contract in Toronto. The Senior Project Manager

The Intermediate Project Manger job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• The projects are small, medium-large, and enterprise wide compliance initiatives
• Handles data in an organized and timely manner
• Puts together presentations to be shown to other stakeholders
• Participates in various decision-making meetings, and runs some of them on their own
• Assists higher level Project Managers
• Interacts with all levels and kinds of people
• Contributes to improve the best practices of the project management community within the Enterprise to help drive consistency, transparency and execution excellence on projects
Qualifications and Skills:
• 2-4 years of relevant project management experience required
• Financial experience is required for this position
• Experience coordinating and tracking, filling out logs, minute taking, booking meetings, as well as running meetings
• Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Clarity, MS Project, SharePoint repositories, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) if applicable)
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and language skills
• Advanced experience with MS Office, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
• Leadership, relationship management, and change management skills
• Detail-oriented and well organized with good judgment
• Problem-solving individual with risk management skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task on projects varying in complexity and of strategic importance to clients and the enterprise
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Strong team player with proven interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively and work closely with business partners, vendors, application developers, development managers, business project managers, product managers, subject matter experts and facilitators
• Ability to work independently and within teams
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to meet deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables
• Experience with compliance, regulatory, wealth management or fund management would be an asset
