Overview of the Position

Accountable for analyzing customer data, creating and delivering valuable insight into customer needs and preferences to increase the effectiveness of Princess Auto’s marketing program. Leverages customer data and applies best practice data management techniques to inform and enable targeted campaigns and decision support framework.

Key Accountabilities

Derives key insights through the analysis of rich customer data sets

Develops analytical problem solving approaches and strategies and adheres to a consistent measurement of outcome

Manages and implements best practice approach to data analytics and data mining using internal and external data sources

Designs and monitors methods for collecting customer information

Compiles direct marketing lists using marketing database (MDB) enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and secondary data sources

Designs and develops reports and presentations to clearly communicate insights, illuminate the customer experience and create a deep understanding of the marketplace across a broad audience

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in commerce/business with a marketing focus or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated success in marketing and/or consumer analysis

Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical methods and principles of predictive modelling

Advanced skills in computer software use including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience with visualization and presentation software an asset

Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities
