Fort Qu’Appelle Elementary School

commencing as soon as possible and ending June 29, 2015.

Located in the heart of the Qu’Appelle Valley, Fort Qu’Appelle is close to a large number of recreational activities and is a popular tourist destination. In addition to the Qu’Appelle lake system, Echo Lake Provincial Park is located nearby, as are two golf courses and a ski hill. There is also a curling rink and an arena, along with a modern health care facility. Fort Qu’Appelle is also home to many historic buildings.

The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring safety, providing personal care and learning assistance for intensive needs students under the direction of the classroom teacher and student services teacher. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with cognitive behavioural issues, as well as personal care responsibilities. Starting wage is at Step 1 – $18.40 per hour.
