We are PME Inc. In the position of an Project Coordinator, we would ask you to do the following:
The Project Coordinator reports to and is administratively accountable to the Project Manager. It should be noted that the Superintendent has overall responsibility for the site’s resources (labour, equipment, and materials), productivity and subs, and therefore has authority to give direction to the Project Coordinator on matters relating to procurement of materials and resolving technical issues to keep crews productive and assisting him on paper work concerns.
The Project will be organized under the direction of the Project Manager, whose responsibilities cover all project-related activities on and off the project site.
The Project Coordinator has the primary responsibility in the fulfillment of PME’s technical, document and quality control obligations to our Industrial Clients in the field and is responsible to the Project Manager for the:
Successful performance of the construction program.
Set up and maintenance of the project administration, procurement, assisting in costing, scheduling, quality, technical reviews, safety and loss control program as per the responsibilities below.
Maintenance of Client relations.
The following list are responsibilities assigned to the Field Engineer:
- Set up and maintenance of the project administration

- Assistance in costing/estimating
- Scheduling
- Quality Control
- Technical Reviews, Constructability and Conflicts
- Safety and Loss Control Program
Required Attributes:
- Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree.
- Software is heavily used within the organization’s processes, the candidate must have strong computer skills and have a history of working within software programs such as:
- Primavera Contract Manager
- Microsoft Project/Primavera P6
- Excel
- Proprietary Software
- Team player.
- Very good people skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Project-goal oriented.
- Proficient in problem solving.
- Strong background in Industrial earth works and concrete works.
Here are a few of the attributes and experience you need to be successful in this position:
You have one to two years of experience and must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate and H2S Alive at minimum
You have experience with civil/industrial construction
You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team
Valid driver’s license – Driver’s Abstract is required
Drug and Alcohol Test required
