Established in 1975, PLASP Child Care Services is a large not-for-profit organization, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates in more than 220 schools providing before school, lunch, and after school programs, and 22 full-day early learning and child care centres. PLASP provides care and early learning to more than 12 500 children from 10 000 families annually. PLASP’s programs are located in over 210 locations in Toronto and Peel Region. PLASP employs over 1300 employees, including nearly 100 professionals at the Head Office in Mississauga.

KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS…

The successful candidate will provide a full range of duties, including:

  • Implementing the PLASP internal recruitment process, the external full cycle selection process, and onboarding programs
  • Attending job fairs and conducting recruitment and selection presentations to attract new talent to the organization

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE…

  • A University Degree or post-graduate certificate in Human Resources or related field
  • A CHRP/CHRL Designation
  • A Minimum 1 year experience in the recruitment function
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in administering online surveys and interpreting survey data (an asset)
  • Onboarding experience (an asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, HRIS, and database management systems
  • The ability to act as a team member
  • Awareness of the need for and respect of confidentiality
  • A self-motivated, flexible and cooperative attitude with the ability to accept increased responsibility
