Job Summary

Phoenix Safety and Rescue has recently opened an office in Saint John New Brunswick and is recruiting for a Shop Hand/Field Services person

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience with Scott Breathing apparatus, cleaning and maintenance
• Experience with cascade systems and air compressors
• Field Experience in Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Power Generation
• Ability to multi-task, work in the shop, provide on site field services in Rescue and Safety Consulting
• Clean drivers abstract, comfortable hauling utility trailers.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Previous Rope Access Experience in Sprat or IRATA Level 2 or Level 3 an asset
• Assist Area Manager as requested Three years of oil field experience with previous construction and safety experience
• Must be able to adjust to schedules for evening and weekend work if required
• Possess a good understanding of all applicable provincial safety legislation
• Maintain inspection documentation for all safety rental equipment, field rope access and rescue equipment.
• Maintain and monitor daily bump requirements and calibration records for all gas detection Competent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications and ability to operate audio/visual equipment
• Previous High Angle Rescue and Confined Space Rescue Training within the last 2years
