We challenge you to join Philips Lighting as Supply Planner (Team Lead Level) where you will take an active role in supporting, developing and monitoring in full material management activities for our Boisbriand, QC location. You will assure that products will be delivered on time against lowest cost and leadtime. You will lead and deploy the Components Stocking Strategy (CSS) for the site, provide recommendations as regards inventory management and supplier network optimization. You will be responsible for Inventory dashboard and deploy corrective measures and improvement projects to achieve best-in-class supply chain performance.
Your Responsibilities: Lead the Components Stocking Strategy and related processes. Conducts and presents analyses of logistic data and interact with team members to achieve world class supply chain performance Ensure supply chain data and parameters integrity. Leads and oversees the implementation of new systems and processes – Solve technical shortcomings of current logistic processes and procedures. Execute plan to reduce inventory and lead times.
Recommend optimal supply chain solutions within the framework set by the Supply Chain Manager – Revise logistic agreements with suppliers. Translates the operations policy into procedures for operational buyer team Coach, mentor operational buyers and participate in their individual performance assessment and development plan. Present weekly and monthly KPI’s for the stakeholders, Check results and identify opportunities for improvement . Supports New product implementation from a supply chain point of view and lead phase-out of products to minimize obsolescence.

We are looking for: Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Bilingual (English and French), with excellent spoken and written communication skills 5+ years of supply chain experience (material management or purchasing) within a manufacturing environment, MTO, MTS, Consumer electronics experience is a plus. Strong working knowledge of supply chain management, including the underlying theories and concepts of supply chain management.
