Job Duties:
1. Support KPI reporting on a regular basis

2.Statutory Holiday Schedule

Discuss with 3rd party carriers to confirm appropriate ship/delivery dates

Create and manage file for each warehouse

Balance schedule to ensure pick-days are spread out as evenly as possible

Upload onto Microsoft NAV and verify all information is accurate

Create store memos, email copy to stores as reminder

Create pick-sheet lists for each warehouse

Create billing list for Finance on updated delivery dates for each statutory holiday week

Create individual driver delivery schedules for statutory holiday week

3. Store Delivery Schedule

Create initial schedule for opening order

Provide warehouses/3rd party carriers with new stores to add into regular/holiday schedules

Adjust order/pick/delivery dates for special requests or permanent changes

Create new schedule files for new stores

Work with 3PLs to work around scheduling delays caused by inclement weather

4. Inter-Warehouse Shipments

Create freight purchase orders (POs) and bill of ladings (BOLs) for shipments to Western Canada (BC/AB) from Central Canada (ON)

Verify collected transfer paperwork to verify contents on the next shipment

Validate which transships are on each pallet and skid counts

Provide information on transfers/transshipments as requested

Provide urgent courier quotes/shipments

5. Invoices

Receive invoices from vendors and Accounts Payable Department

Provide manual coding for store deliveries and special invoices

Match freight POs to invoices for inbound freight

Match fuel receipts and tickets against fuel invoices

Track specific types of invoices using MS Excel

Contact inventory management/shipping warehouses for invoices without proper freight POs

Contact carriers when costs are inaccurate

6. Other duties as required

Education

Preferred: Logistics courses or CITT or PLog Designation; Financial analysis

Minimum: College/University degree in related field

Experience

Minimum: 2 years’ experience using a warehouse and distribution system (e.g., creating and maintaining a delivery schedule)

Unique Skills

Ability to relate to colleagues at all corporate levels (e.g., store employees, District Sales Managers, Help Desk, 3PLs)

Strong verbal and written communications skills, primarily by phone

Willingness to work hours necessary to support customer demands during peak seasons

Capacity to work effectively under pressure and provide the highest level of customer service

Intermediate Microsoft Word and Advanced Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of customs and cross-border processes
