What the job is
We are currently looking for two summer interns currently enrolled in a marketing or business program. The successful candidates will be involved in 3 main projects aimed at developing and implementing marketing strategies. The 3 projects or deliverables will be defined with the successful candidates but will generally be outlined as: Social Media Strategy, Direct Mail Strategy and Development Of Marketing Tools to support a 12 month marketing calendar.

Responsibilities

• Identify all local influence centres to determine referral groups.
• Draft client communications, content for blogs, website and social media
• Assist with advertising and marketing promotional activities including social media, mobile, mail, e-mail, web, telemarketing and print.
• Work with various databases.
• Provide competitive research and analysis support.
• Help with collection and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative data from client marketing campaigns.
• Assist in developing a marketing calendar.
• Assist in developing presentation material for a business development course.
• Perform analysis of marketing and sales data

Qualifications

• Strong writing skills
• Superior organizational and communication skills
• Work independently with little supervision
• Solid computer skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Possess a drivers license
