Peavey Industries in Red Deer, AB is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team!

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and timely arrival of goods from vendors to Peavey, and to support the Supply Chain Manager to improve Peavey’s competitive position through reduced freight costs.

Essential Job Results

  • Act as a liaison to the stores for all their replenishment requests, including supply chain and flyer distribution issues.
  • Provide communication to the stores on all replenishment items, including flyer and online delivery.
  • Provide detail support on timely delivery of all items for in store merchandising activities.
  • Coordinate all inbound shipments.
  • Maintain a scheduling tools to facilitate timely arrival of goods with the merchants and prioritize warehouse receiving.
  • Maintain a tracking metric for all inbound freight carrier’s rate information to minimize our transportation cost.
  • Develop and maintain a data base for all shipping points of origin by vendor.
  • Manage all shipping inquiries.
  • Follow proper routing guide and track vendor shipping compliance.
  • Master all visibility tools available by our preferred carriers to deliver rapid response on request.
  • Provide shipping options to maximize supply chain efficiency and minimize cost.
  • Administrative tasks as needed.
  • Positively communicate and demonstrate the company’s Core Values.

Job Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Business or Marketing.
  • Online website and database experience a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • High level of typing and repetition.
  • Moderate amount of travel for meetings.
