Pathways for Children and Youth is the Lead Agency for Child and Youth Mental Health in Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox and Addington Counties serving children and youth, birth to eighteen years, and their families. The agency is also the Regional Lead for Autism Services for the South East region, offering Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) based Services and Supports and the School Support Program (SSP). Pathways has been accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation in Organisational Standards and in Child and Youth Mental Health.

Pathways supports staff to provide timely, evidence informed, and caring services to our community’s children, youth and families by fostering a learning culture, and by providing a respectful, collaborative work environment.


Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, Autism, provide intensive behavioural intervention programs for children diagnosed with autism on an as needed basis to replace staff during absences.


  • Behavioural Science Technology Diploma, or Autism and Behavioural Sciences Post Graduate Certificate, or equivalent.
  • Intensive Behaviour Intervention experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of autism, child development and applied behaviour analysis.
  • Must successfully complete agency required training in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Intensive Behaviour Intervention.
  • It is also required that the employee successfully completes the mandatory provincial training.
  • Valid Province of Ontario driver’s license as well as automobile insurance with a minimum liability of one million dollars for business purposes .
  • Candidates Bilingual in English and French will be given special consideration.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment health assessment.
