T he Scientist I will develop new formulations and scale-up procedures of solid, liquids, and semi-solid dosage forms at the pre-clinical, clinical, scale-up to registration, and validation stages of drug development.

Key Requirements

• Participate in or lead the design/evaluation of formulations and manufacturing processes for solid, semi-solid or liquid dosage forms.

• Participate in or lead problem solving for formulations, manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Participate in writing protocols and manufacturing cards for feasibility and clinical trial materials.
• Participate in writing development reports.
• Participate in inter departmental co-ordination for documentation and equipment related tasks.
• Participate in training, qualification of equipments, and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Present interpreted results and updates to Client Services, PDS, Operations, and individual clients.

• Record results in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and company standard.

• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in pharmaceutical science or technology

• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical formulation/technology experience
• Demonstrable understanding of pharmaceutical formulation science
• Basic Good Manufacturing Practices and United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance knowledge
• Computer proficiency
• Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and organizational skills
• Able to work independently or in team environment
• Communicates and co-operates with others to meet project and team objectives
• In this role it is essential to perform shift work
• Demonstrated commitment to our fundamental principles of Integrity, Respect & Excellence
• Proficiency with the English language
