We are currently seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our Drafting Department in a temporary (3-6 months), full time capacity. Together we provide homeowners with the ultimate personalized home buying experience.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Architectural Technologist has the following role and responsibilities:

• Involved in daily production of construction drawings
• Developing drawings for new home designs
• Revising existing drawings
• Preparing applications for building/development permits
• Preparing architectural guideline applications and drawing design changes as needed

The Person

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:

• Thorough understanding and working knowledge of residential construction
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and time management skills
• The ability to meet deadlines
• CAD qualification and experience in SoftPlan or AutoCAD (Revit)
• Working knowledge of the City of Edmonton Zoning By-Law and the Alberta Building Code.
• Experienced in the City of Edmonton requirements for DP and BP submissions
• Possess an Architectural Technology or Technician Diploma with 0 – 3 years’ industry experience
• Graduates from a recognized CAD Program will also be considered
