The ideal candidate will be well versed in customer service and have the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment. The Service Desk operates extended business hours 7 days a week and provides on-call support for critical after-hours incidents; this requires incumbents to be comfortable working some shifts and taking part in the on-call rotation.

This is a 3-6 month term position, with the potential to become permanent.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of previous Service Desk or Help Desk experience is required;
• Certificate/Diploma in a related IT field would be preferred;
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required;
• Must be able to apply logic to problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
• The successful applicant will be detail oriented and conscientious, patient, pleasant, and an enthusiastic team player;
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Working knowledge of applications, networking, computer, and point of sale hardware and software would be an asset;
• ITIL Foundations Certification would be considered an asset.
