Team & Location: Commercial Fuels – Dartmouth DC
Reporting to the National Lubricants Supply/Pricing Manager, the Customer Service Rep will work in partnership with the Lubricants Operations Administrator and other team member at the Dartmouth Distribution Center to deliver strong Customer support through administrating assigned Shell DFOA customers on behalf of Shell and Bluewave. Also supporting and resolving issues for our customers. This is a temporary position for roughly 18 months without benefits.
Accountable for processing orders received from Shell and assuring quality, accurate processing both on the Shell and Bluewave computer systems, while optimizing order cycle responsiveness and efficiencies
Ensure requests are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Maintains customer accounts to ensure that information is accurate and accessible, acting as a front-line liaison with specific bulk lubricant delivery contractors
Provides support to National Lubricants Supply Manager as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qua lifications & Skills:
Business/Office Diploma or 2-3 years administration related experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word and Outlook an asset
Knowledge of JD Edwards is an asset
Outstanding attitude and dedication to providing excellent customer service
Excellent verbal, written communications skills and telephone manner
Strong attention to detail and follow-up
Good problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure, resolve problems and make decisions quickly and effectively, using a strong sense of self confidence
Comfortable learning new computer programs
Maturity and administrative experience is a definite asset
Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage own time effectively
Strong computer skills and the ability to multi task. (i.e. – keyboarding, utilizing multi screens and on the telephone)
Understanding of the basic concept of accounts receivable, credit/invoicing, sales order, inventory, and reconciliation of accounts
