Why join us? We are looking for a highly motivated Leasing Assistant to join our Industrial team in Edmonton. Reporting to Senior Manager, Industrial Leasing, you will be responsible for all aspects of the lease administration, lease documentation, and you will be the primary point of contact for all leasing reporting requirements. Additionally, you will provide direct day-to-day administrative support to the Senior Manager, including schedule coordination, budget management, advertising/marketing, expenses, and other administrative duties.

Note: this is a part-time position with standard hours of 25 hours per week, ideally 5 hours per day. Scheduling preferences will be considered.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for: MARKETING
• Participate in, and coordinate when required, marketing initiatives and programs with direction from the team.
• Support Head Office Marketing to create, maintain, and update industrial-specific print collateral; and in partnership with the local team, ensure Oxford standard marketing materials remain current, implement marketing programs for each property, and ensure leasing opportunities are properly “branded” (on-site and online).
• In partnership with the Senior Manager, build expertise in each of the market nodes where leasing responsibilities exist such that knowledge is available in the areas of leasing activity in competing buildings, market rates, additional rents, and quality of common areas.
• Network with the leasing community for timely information on activity within market.

LEASING ADMINISTRATION
• Maintain all lease documentation.
• Audit package reviews.
• JDE lease entries and maintenance.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
• In partnership with the Senior Manager, provide direct administrative support, including but not limited to coordination and scheduling of appointments and tours, expense reports, correspondences, etc.
• Complete required reports including prospects, forecast, closed and lost deals reports for each building where leasing responsibilities exist.
• Contribute to the preparation of the Leasing sections for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Manage database of comparable transactions.
• Prepare annual leasing plan and quarterly forecasts for all vacancies in each building where leasing responsibilities exist.
• Maintain Oxford website information for assigned properties.

To succeed in this role, you: • possess a post-secondary degree with focus in administration, business or real estate.
• minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a related position. Preference will be given to candidates who have direct experience in real estate.
• have excellent skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint . Experence with Adobe InDesign is also preferred.
• able to multi-task and manage priorities under pressure with careful attention to detail.
• are proactive and have excellent organizational skills.
• have strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• are a collaborative team player with ability to work independently, a demonstrated self starter.
