PEST MANAGEMENT SERVICE AND SALES/BIRD & WILDLIFE TECHNICIAN

Description:
Full-time permanent Technician at our Newfoundland Branch. Duties will include:

• Inspect buildings and outside areas at regular intervals
• Determine type of treatment required and provide estimate of cost to clients
• Prepare and spray product on infested areas using mechanical or electric sprayer
• Bird/Wildlife trapping and exclusion
• Residential & Commericial Pest Control
• Washroom care programs
• Coach and counsel clients to prevent pest infestation
• Inspect premises to identify infestation source, extent of damage, and access to infested locations
• Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation
• Route growth through sales
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Valid provincial pesticide applicator license an asset
• Valid driver’s license / clean driving record
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
• Will have to undergo a criminal background check; sign a non-compete agreement; participate in testing as part of the interview process
• Ability to manage and work as part of a team
• Sales experience an asset
