The “Installer” position is responsible for assisting with the repairs, service and installation of commercial or industrial doors, access systems, and building accessories. The work undertaken by the Installer is under the direction of the Service Technician or Lead Hand assigned.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Orience Integration is a Canadian, Commercial and Industrial door system specialist committed to offering innovative products and service that meet or exceed the industry’s regulatory requirements.

This position is responsible for the safe repair, service and installation of commercial or industrial doors, access systems, and building accessories in Edmonton and the surrounding area. In this role you will be in charge of overseeing work assignments, including troubleshooting issues and providing innovative solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

We like to hire real people and assist them as they develop into “SuperStar” employees. We are interested in the following experience and abilities for this role:

• High School graduate preferred

• Ability to pass Drug and Security Screening for site access.

• Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.

• Availability to work on out of town sites.

• Physically capable of moving/ lifting heavy objects, bending, or standing for extended periods.

• Experienced in using a variety of tools, including power tools.

• Safety minded; some safety training an asset. (e.g. CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection )

• Customer service focused, a team player, respectful of coworkers and clients.

• Several years of experience in commercial door installation and service or experience in commercial trades preferred.

• Good communication skills, written and verbal, able to write and record work order information, able to interpret specifications and drawings.

• Reliable and adaptable to changing priorities.

• Critical thinker, ability to effectively problem solve issues, and provide innovative solutions.
