As a member of our growing Benefits Services team, your responsibilities will include:

Managing the Benefits Services department’s communications. This includes monitoring, tracking and distributing all incoming call centre mail and faxes.

Ensuring appropriate communications and marketing materials are sent to members.

Providing administrative and clerical assistance to the Call Centre Representatives, including member mailings, imaging, indexing and filing.

Managing the secure FTP claim pull folder, ensuring that all claim pulls are monitored, distributed and imaged, and the logs are updated.

Responding to member email inquiries from the department’s email queue within specified department turnaround times.

Responding to inquiries from members who drop into the office in a courteous and efficient manner.

Providing backup support to the Call Centre by taking inbound member inquiries when required.

Assisting the Call Centre, Senior Administration and the Leadership team. This includes distributing reports, documents and other duties as needed.

Participating in the creation and maintenance of various common folders and manuals for department reference.

If this opportunity sounds interesting, and you meet the following requirements, you might be the person we’re looking for. We need someone who has:

A minimum of one year’s post-secondary training in Office Administration.

A minimum of one year’s experience in group health, dental and travel insurance.

A demonstrated ability to provide outstanding service in an accurate and efficient manner.

Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Experience in call centre and customer service environments is considered an asset.

The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
