Responsible for providing high calibre services for patrons and VIP’s as assigned including assisting with comps, entertainment provisions, information on site events and promotions, etc. Provides pertinent information regarding game offerings and facility amenities. Provides service to patrons in the areas of kiosk functionality, dispensing of ballots, vouchers, etc., including promoting the benefits of Winner’s Circle membership. Maintains current knowledge of game specifications, game operation, special features, etc.
Major Responsibility Areas:
Provides Host duties to VIP’s as assigned which may include assistance with information on site events, divisional or site promotions and various entertainment plans.
Issue restaurant, hotel and other complimentary privileges to patrons in accordance with established guidelines.
Assists with specific patron requests ensuring site service provisions are available and provided in timely and courteous fashion, promote and maintain the highest calibre of customer service and respect to all patrons, ensuring site and corporate image is continually projected to highest levels.
Utilize the Player Information Repository (PIR) to determine ADT and comp worth.
Performs Host duties in assigned areas which may include game overview, interpretation and explanations to patrons and offering ‘learn to play’ sessions, responding to queries and requests for information from patrons, ensures beverage, coat check, valet services, etc. are provided as requested.
Promotes the benefits of Winner’s Circle membership to site patrons explaining program highlights and bonuses. Ensures current awareness is maintained regarding promotions and new programs.
Assists patrons in the areas of kiosk functionality including explaining use, dispensing of ballots, vouchers, etc.
Maintains current knowledge of game specifications. May attend training sessions relating to game manufacturers and platforms, game operation, special features, etc.
Deals with customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner ensuring a suitable resolution is provided. Escalates matters as appropriate to supervisory or management staff. Issues and retrieves customer comment cards for service improvement suggestions.
Assists in maintaining designated area at site in a clean manner ensuring presentation and appearance standards are maintained.
Maintain general awareness of gaming operation at all times to foster continual improvement and teamwork.
Initiate and accurately completes any required documents, reports and paperwork
Comply with all AGCO, corporate and departmental regulations, policies and procedures
Additional responsibilities or duties, which are consistent with the position summary, may be assigned at the discretion of department supervisors/managers.
Community College Diploma in Hospitality, Marketing or suitable equivalent.
Directly related gaming experience of three (3) or more years.
Demonstrated superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong abilities in the area of dispute resolution and problem solving.
Ability to maintain tact and composure during high-stress situations
Available to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Licenses, Certifications, Registration:
Requires Registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant through the AGCO.
