Oxford is currently seeking a highly motivated individual, with a passion for real estate development, at the Analyst level to join our Development Analyst team in Toronto, Canada. This position supports all development initiatives across Canada which includes approximately $2.4 Billion in projects currently underway as well as a Development Pipeline in excess of $6.0 Billion.

Responsibilities: • Underwrite real estate development opportunities by assisting in the creation of pro-forma financial models for existing and/or future projects; •
Run lease sensitivity analysis for development projects; •
Assist in the preparation of presentations for assigned projects to Oxford’s Investment Committee and co-owners; •
Work with Oxford’s Investment team underwriting potential development related acquisitions; •
Liaise with internal and external groups to gather supporting details and information for various development projects/opportunities; •
Research and collect information material for pre-development pro-forma models and potential new opportunities •
Provide analytical support to Development and Construction leads for monthly reporting and accruals; •
Insightfully discuss and interpret results, identify key investment considerations and risks; and •
Develop the technical skills and real estate knowledge of the Analyst team

Qualifications: • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning or Engineering; •
Possession of (or working towards) a CFA and/or a professional accounting designation considered an asset but not required; •
1+ year of work experience in a real estate, private equity, investment banking or a professional advisory firm is considered an asset but not required; •
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling), advanced knowledge of ARGUS DCF and familiarity with ARGUS Enterprise considered an asset; •
Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail; •
Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving and project management skills; •
Ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines; and •
Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
